Federica Commisso

As a lawyer of the Milan bar, Federica Commisso has been developing her expertise in bankruptcy, corporate, banking and commercial law.

Federica Commisso works with banks, insolvency proceedings, companies and private individuals in the framework of bankruptcy, banking, and trading contracts and in corporate law matters, with special regard to the liability of statutory bodies vis-à-vis the company, its creditors and third parties. She also acts as receiver, court-appointed and administrative receiver in judicial sales with the Milan Court.

Federica Commisso’s remarkable professional experience is enriched by the academic activity performed at the Università degli Studi in Milan, and by her permanent cooperation, as essays and judgments notes author, with prominent law journals.

Teaching Activity

She cooperates with the chair of bankruptcy law at Università degli Studi in Milan.

From 2005 to 2008 has been cooperating with the chair of law of civil procedure at Università degli Studi in Milan.

She teaches training courses for chartered accountants’ State examination and training for lawyers and chartered accountants.

She occasionally participates in congresses as a speaker in law matters.

Publications, scientific and editorial activity

She permanently cooperates with the journal “Il Fallimento e altre procedure concorsuali”, as editor of the page of maxims on the merits.

Author of many essays and judgment notes on “Giurisprudenza Commerciale”, “Il Fallimento e altre procedure concorsuali”, “IlFallimentarista.it”

On behalf of Wolters Kluver Italia, she is in charge of updating the database of “Il Fallimento” and edits the on-line service “Esperto”.
